Martin Munzer joined CyGene in August of 1997 and currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of CyGene Laboratories, Inc. Prior to joining CyGene, Mr. Munzer served as Vice President of Development for Bio-Nucleonics, Inc., a Miami, Florida based company involved with the production and marketing of radioisotopes, radioactive stints, and radioactive "organ phantoms" used for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes in the practice of nuclear medicine. In this capacity, Mr. Munzer was responsible for opening new markets and directed product registrations and licensing with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), the Food and Drug Administration, and the equivalent European agencies. For 15 years Mr. Munzer was President and Chief Executive Officer for Solway, Inc., a Fort Lauderdale based distributor of medical and surgical devices and instruments. His responsibilities included developing relationships with major clients, suppliers, and government agencies, as well as establishing the company's distribution networks. In this capacity, his efforts resulted in the company becoming the third largest supplier of surgical instruments to the United States Department of Defense. Mr. Munzer received his Masters of Science Degree in Engineering in 1979 from Fachhochschule Darmstadt in Darmstadt, Germany, where he specialized in Polymer Engineering. He received the equivalent of a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1973 from the University of Mainz located in Mainz, Germany. In addition, Mr. Munzer is specially trained in the fields of chemical production processing, process automation and control and materials testing. Supporting his skills in international relations, Mr. Munzer is fluent in English, German, and Spanish, and is conversational in Dutch, Italian, and French.

Barry H. Dvorchik, Ph.D., FCP

Dr. Barry H. Dvorchik joined CyGene in the fourth quarter of 2003. Prior to joining the Company, he was President of Barry H. Dvorchik and Associates, Inc., providing strategic and scientific assistance in therapeutic development to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. The firm is consultant to pharmaceutical companies in the areas of due diligence, clinical pharmacology and pharmaceutical development. Dr. Dvorchik has held positions as Director or Vice President at numerous pharmaceutical companies such as at Hybridon, Inc., McNeil Pharmaceutical, Bioclin, Inc. and others. In the course of his career he designed, implemented, and directed clinical drug metabolism and pharmacokinetic studies leading to numerous US and international IND's and other FDA filings. In addition to his extensive industry experience, Dr. Dvorchik has twelve years academic and teaching experience as tenured professor at The Milton S. Hershey Medical Center of the Pennsylvania State University, Hershey, PA in the Departments of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pharmacology and Medicine (Division of Clinical Pharmacology). Dr. Dvorchik earned his Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of Florida. He is a Fellow of the American College of Pharmacology (FCP) and Past President of the American College of Clinical Pharmacology. He is a member of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists, the American Society for Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics, the American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics, and the International Society for the Study of Xenobiotics.

Fred McCall-Pérez, Ph.D., M.B.A.

Prior to joining the Company in early 2002, Dr. McCall-Pérez was President and Senior Consultant for GPC, Inc. a healthcare and bioscience consulting company. In 1985, he helped form American Biodyne, one of the nation's first managed behavioral healthcare companies and led the Company's transformation from a start-up staff model to one of the nations largest network-model delivery systems. He was President and CEO of Quality Clinical Services, a managed behavioral health company that he later sold. Dr. McCall-Pérez founded LifeWay Disease Management, one of the nation's first disease management technology companies. The Company was sold in 1997. As Vice President for the medical call center and President, Disease Management Division for National Health Enhancement Systems (bought by HBOC in 1997) he reversed the losses within the medical call center achieving profitability in eleven months and helped developed software to enhance over 700 call centers with outbound disease management programs. McCall-Pérez was the first Medical Adviser for WebMD and helped secure the first funding for the Company. Dr. McCall-Pérez has 10 years experience as a Clinical Psychologist, serving as Chief Psychologist and Director of Inpatient and Outpatient Programs, Mental Health and Substance Abuse at a Community Hospital, and as an instructor at the University of Arizona Medical School, in Tucson, Arizona. Dr. McCall-Pérez has published a number of professional articles and is the author of the book, Physician Equity Groups and Other Competitive Entities for Physicians (McGraw-Hill). He served as a White House Policy Representative on healthcare and as a speaker for the White House on healthcare reform during the Clinton Administration. Dr. McCall-Pérez received a B.S. in Mental Retardation from the University of Illinois, an M.A. in Developmental Psychology from The Ohio State University, and his Ph.D. in Learning Disabilities from the University of Arizona. He has an MBA in finance from the University of Miami.

Martin Jorge López Cordova, Ph.D.

Dr. López joined CyGene in the summer, 2001. Dr. López comes to CyGene from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, where he is a visiting scientist in the Infectious Disease Division of the Department of Medicine. He is well published and has taught molecular biology extensively in Peru and other Latin American countries. As a founder of BioLinks, - a genetic screening laboratory in Lima, Peru - he supervised staff and established a DNA paternity testing laboratory. He has also developed a number of PCR?-based Leishmania detection assays for use in remote locations, such as the South American rain forest. Dr. López received his Ph.D. Degree in Sciences from Universidad Peruna Cayetano Heredia (UPCH). He also received his MSc, in biochemistry, his licenciature and bachelor degree in biology from UPCH.

Richard A. Chmelo, Ph.D.

Prior to joining CyGene in September 2004, Dr. Chmelo was the Associate Director of Genomics at Covance Central Laboratories Services, a major CRO located in Indianapolis, Indiana. At Covance, he was responsible for all administrative and technical departmental activities that include leading, advising, and supporting technologies in the area of genomics to drive global testing consistency in human and viral genotyping and viral load determination for sponsors. Prior to his work at Covance, Dr. Chmelo was the Director of Technology Development at DNA Sciences (Morrisville, NC). In this position, he was responsible for the design, development, validation, and implementation of PCR-based assays for SNP and other genetic mutations for use in clinical drug development, screening, and other applications. Over his years of diagnostic and molecular biology experience, Dr. Chmelo has worked for Bayer Corporation, Fortron Bio-Science, Organon Teknika Corporation, Boehringer Mannheim Corporation, and Duke University Medical Center.
